Andrew Hasz, superintendent since 2017, graduated from Jesus Center School in 1988, the last graduating class before Jesus Center School moved to Arvada and became Faith Christian Academy. Andrew attended the Colorado School of Mines, where he received his BS in mathematics. Shortly after graduation, he and his wife, Gina, moved to Orlando, Florida where he taught at the Naval Nuclear Power School and attended the University of Central Florida. It was there that he received his Master’s in mathematics and the title of Lieutenant. Andrew began teaching at Faith Christian Academy in 1996, became the athletic director in January 1999, and the head boy’s basketball coach in November 1999. He held the High School Principal position from 2003 – 2017. Andrew and Gina have three grown children who all graduated from Faith Christian Academy.

Dave Martin began his career at Faith in 2008 as a middle school science teacher. He and his wife have three children, all of whom either currently attend or have graduated from Faith Christian. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology Education from Colorado State University in Pueblo, and Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Colorado Christian University in Lakewood.

Prior to Faith Christian, he had a twenty-year career in the field of computer systems integration and was a Director of Information Technology for Janus Capital Management in Denver. Most recently, he served in higher education as Affiliate Faculty at Colorado Christian University, in the College of Adult and Graduate Studies, Management of Information Systems.

Michael Cook, high school principal since 2017, recently served as the middle school principal from 2014-2017.  Michael graduated from Vanguard University with a BA in History & Political Science, then earned his MA in Educational Psychology from the University of Colorado. He and his wife Cori moved to Colorado in 2009 where he began working at Faith Christian Academy. They are blessed to have two young children. Michael enjoyed his time working with FCHS students as a Guidance Counselor, Teacher, and Dean of Students, and has absolutely loved getting the opportunity to minister alongside parents and teachers in the ministry of discipling middle school students with the Gospel and love of Christ. Go Eagles!

Bryan earned his BA in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin and his MS in Educational Administration from the University of Phoenix. He  lived in Hong Kong for 16 years where he served at the International Christian School (ICS), one of the most highly acclaimed private Christian schools in Asia. Starting at ICS as a 5th grade teacher, he taught middle school math, science, social studies, Bible and English for a number of years. In 2007, he accepted the ICS Middle School Principal position. Recently, in 2017 he accepted the K-8 Principal position at Faith Christian Academy.  Bryan along with his wife, a former 8th grade teacher at ICS, and their three children moved to Colorado in the summer of 2017 and are excited to start this new adventure that God has given them. Bryan passionately serves Jesus in the ministry of Christian education and is characterized as a dynamic, attentive and collaborative leader, who skillfully works with parent, students and teachers.

Abram began serving as Athletic Director at Faith Christian in 2019.  After graduating from Faith Christian in 2007 he earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Colorado Christian University where he also played collegiate basketball for 4 years.  He went on to earn his Master’s in Athletic Administration and Coaching from Concordia University in Irvine.  Prior to coming to FCHS, he taught PE and was the Middle School Athletic Director for 6 years at Jefferson Academy.  He served as the head boys and girls golf coach at JA and as the assistant boys basketball coach.  As the A.D. at Faith, Abram represents the Metropolitan League on CHSAA’s Legislative Counsel and serves as the chairperson for District 1 Softball.

Dori Naas joined FCA in 2019 as the Director of Enrollment. She is married to Chris and they have two children and a daughter-in-law. Prior to joining Faith Christian Academy, she spent seven years in higher education, working in admissions and financial aid. She began her career working with children placed in residential treatment, and she and her husband also own a local transportation company. She has always been passionate about Christian education, and feels blessed that her children were able to attend Christian schools. Her passion is getting other families to know the true value of a Christian Education.

Karen Maes, serving as the assistant enrollment director, began her career at Faith in 2015. Karen graduated from The King’s College in New York with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing.  Originally from Pennsylvania, Karen moved to Colorado where she met her husband, Dan.  He hired her at her first job in Colorado and they have two children. Their daughter, a CCU grad, is a music teacher in a Douglas County School, and their son is a student at Faith Christian High School.
