Academics

With a 10:1 elementary and 14:1 high school/middle school ratio, knowledgeable and dedicated teachers give precision focus to students, challenging and equipping their minds while supporting character development. Teachers genuinely care about impacting the students they serve and educate through defined classroom management and setting expectations early in the school year.

To provide the best possible education, we use a variety of curriculum and resources in every subject area, helping our students rank high in national standards. We teach all subjects through a Biblical worldview lens so students learn to how discern, become critical thinkers and apply Christian values to all areas of life.

Our staff is trained to assess each student to provide the specific support they need to succeed⏤on both ends of the spectrum. Some students need extra help to grasp concepts while others need advanced opportunities to move above grade-level.

While many schools are eliminating the “extras,” Faith continues to provide technology, PE, art and music as part of our daily elementary curriculum. All students participate in music up to 3rd grade when students select band or choir for their music program.

FCHS offers AP and dual credit courses with 40+ college credit hours available.  These honors courses are offered through Colorado Christian University and are taught by qualified teachers on our high school campus.  More than 5800 credit hours have been earned in six years by our juniors and seniors.  These honors courses are available in math, science, language arts, history, and social science.

We believe a strong work ethic is important for students because they will be more successful in college and later in their careers.  We do require homework.  However, homework is monitored, the amount of homework is reasonable and is meant to reinforce what the students are learning during the school day.  Elementary and Middle School students are not assigned homework over the weekends.  At the high school, students can expect approximately two hours of homework per night and have opportunities during the school day to begin homework.
